From first picking up a guitar at the age of 9, Ryzy took lessons locally and self taught thereafter. He played in numerous bands over the years picking up drums, bass and keys along the way. He is now signed exclusively with london based music publisher Sveva Music as a writer.

In 2021 Ryzy took up a position playing bass in friend Kyle Falconer’s, solo band - singer-songwriter and founding member of Mercury Prize-nominated band The View.

This led to performances for regular gigs, festivals and television performances for the likes of Chris Evans Breakfast Show with Sky TV, BBC Scotland and TRNSMT.

This work also carries to the studio where Ryzy not only writes but acts as a creative producer.

Experience and knowledge gained through production mixed with long-term experience as a musician has allowed Ryzy to bridge a gap between creative and operational processes.

This makes collaboration very easy when introducing producers, mixing and mastering engineers to a project. Allowing concepts to become reality, without losing their originality.

Ryzy founded Scottish band Sunkisst along with pals Freddy, Jack & Robbie in 2022. The 4 are currently actively gigging and recording.
